TSIM · ThisSiteIsMine.com

Radical honesty,
trauma-aware.

A quiet editorial home for people who are done performing — essays, cognitive reframing practices, plain-language translation for the generation that didn't have this language, and the Rumination Elimination Station. Behavioral coaching from someone who broke his own patterns the hard way.

A worn writing desk by a window at first light, with a small plant, an open notebook, and a mug.
The desk, the lamp, the long view.

“We coach from scar tissue, not from the pedestal.”

The method

A working hybrid, not a brand.

What finally fit was a quiet blend: the structural clarity of behavioral psychology, weighted toward the practical, with a trauma-informed lens that treats every pattern as a logical adaptation rather than a character flaw. Internally I call the working blend Julian — the site's internal framework for trauma recovery and emotional resilience. Matter-of-fact, not cultish.

i.

Patterns are logical

Every adaptation made sense once. The work isn't to shame the old strategy — it's to retire it gently when its job is done.

ii.

Honesty is the shortcut

Most stuckness lives in the gap between what we say and what we actually feel. Closing that gap, slowly, is most of the work.

iii.

Small choices compound

Healing rarely happens in big breakthroughs. It happens in quiet, repeated, slightly-uncomfortable choices.

“If I just think about it one more time, I'll figure it out.”

A worked example, in the four parts we use every time: Raw thought, the first pass story, a more honest reading, and what you might do with it. None of it is therapy. All of it is honest.
